Lead Yoga @Arisia?

While in theory I could still lead yoga at Arisia, I'd have to do it largely verbally, which is no problem for experienced folks, but can be challenging for the large number of newbies we tend to get there. Even if I had someone up front who was the Person to Mirror, I'm not sure it's ideal.

If you and/or someone you know are willing and able to lead yoga at Arisia Saturday and/or Sunday mornings at 9am, please contact me via email (LJ email works) with some info about your style and plan.

Hey, "largely verbal" would work much better for me! (Seriously, I tend to skip such classes because I'm afraid they'll be too visual.)

To be clear, it's not an either-or. Every yoga class should work for someone with their eyes closed, but in general, sighted beginners tend to really want someone to look at and mimic. When I am able-bodied, I do just as much verbing. :)

Slightly off topic, but ... I assume the new hotel has no Mount Arisia to climb?

Alas, no. We have moved off to the plauteus, which are not nearly so fun to climb.

Ah! Maybe, then, it's time to revive steppe aerobics!!

What about yoga for expectant mothers? I know that's probably an extremely limited demographic, but I'll imagine that for the few, it would be really cool.

What about yoga for kids & families? A much less limited demo than expectants, but either way, there's no time/space. :/
