Some folks have been doing a Candle Labyrinth the past few years at Rites of Spring -- it's amazing. Simply, a bunch of luminaria (tea-lights set in paper bags or plastic cups which have an inch or so of sand in the bottom work very well), set in the familiar pattern...
The folks who've been doing the one at Rites spend an hour or two doing the setup, then several hours maintaining -- replacing burnt-out tea lights -- and chanting, while anyone who wants to walks it...
