The list is long, the bounty is huge!

  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 1 head Bibb (is that also a place?) lettuce
  • 1 bunch collard greens
  • 1 head escarole
  • 1/3 lb mesclun
  • 1/4 lb spinach
  • 1 purple kohlrabi
  • 2 (maybe 3?) Hakurei turnips
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1/2 bunch (baby?) scallions

One of last week's experiments was spinach paratha, which was fantastic and will certainly be made again.

So says the interwebs... So far, I've used them essentially as garlic, which also works nicely, since I have SO MUCH PESTO still leftover and frozen from last year. :)

Which CSA are you with? Or are you with two+ of them? I see all the items (except for some cilantro) that were in the Parker Farm in there, but there's a lot there that weren't from Parker Farm. I'm with Parker Farm (small) this year, my first farmshare, and I'm finding it challenging to not only figure out how to cook some of these items, but it's also a challenge to remember what each item is if I am unfamiliar with the item! Such as, the collards, kale, escarole and chard, while all different, are all "greens I've never really used before" so I can't tell which is which in my fridge veggie drawer!

I'm sharing two full shares with someone else, so the list is (excepting mods made due to preference) half of Parker+RedFire.

Kale is one of my favorite leafy greens and the Red Russian of which Steve is so fond makes me very happy.
